After 9 months of heavy training, my knee gets swollen after each jump. 30 minutes of NTS rehab and I do full freestyle session without any problems. Thanks to NTS and RSQ1 I am back to kiteboarding!
In 2015, while landing a kiteboarding freestyle high jump, I damaged my left knee. In September of the same year, I had an ACL reconstruction and the meniscus cleaning surgery. After the operation, I devoted myself in 100% to rehabilitation, sometimes 3 sessions a day, because I wanted to strengthen my muscles. Unfortunately, after 9 months of heavy training, still, I did not feel good. My knee got swollen after every, even a small one, jump, and I did not feel that these training sessions strengthen my muscles. With the hope that the situation would improve, and that I would be able to return to the kiteboarding, I went to Brazil, where I spent 3 months training every morning:
Unfortunately, nothing changed. Despite that, I did not decide to come back home, but I flew to Capo Verde. There, in a small gym, where almost every day I trained the muscles of my legs, accidentally I met Jacek Bator. Jacek was intrigued by my heavy training and I told him about my problem. Then, he decided to help me by doing a short 30 minutes session (NTS and RSQ1) free of charge, after which he recommended me to do next day a regular freestyle session and check if the knee gets swollen again. I could not believe it, but the knee did not get swollen! He warned me, that probably one session of NTS would not be enough to resolve my problem permanently. For the next 3 days, my freestyle sessions were very intense, but the knee did not cause any problems. I was in heaven, but after 4 days everything came back to as it was before.
Anyway, this was the very best moment since I had my surgery, so I decided to trust Jacek, and he suggested to come to Cracow (Poland). In Cracow, we did 10 sessions of NTS/RSQ1 therapy, and honestly, it was pretty cheap for the service he gave.
Jacek explained to me, that the main reason that my knee had been getting swollen had been in the unstable Sacro-iliac joint (SI joint) due to the stretched ligaments.
My exercises not only had not been helping at all, actually, they had been stretching the ligaments even farther increasing the damage to the SI joint. To fix this problem Jacek advised me to use Serola belt.
Then, he also taught me how to train in the future, to feel better and stronger than ever before. After these exercises, I feel a big difference. Finally, I feel that the muscles of the left leg work as good as in the right leg.
All this sounds simply as a fairy tale, but you should know, that when you listen to Jacek, the fairy tale may become a reality.
I am back to kiteboarding:
