RSQ1 Contra-indications

Contraindications:

Treatment with the RSQ1 is contraindicated in the following situations:

  • When a medical doctor contraindicated electrostimulation in general;
  • Direct placement of pads on the eyes
  • Pregnancy;
  • Tumours;
  • Internal Electrical Device (IED);
  • Sensitive for Carotid Sinus Reflex;
  • In the region of the neck and mouth;
  • Transcerebrally;
  • In combination with other medical devices;
  • During operating a vehicle;
  • On a height of 3000 meter;
  • Longer then 1x/ day 2 x 12 minutes on maximal intensity.

Warnings:

Consult a medical doctor and take adequate safety measuring, before starting the treatment, if:

  • (Assumed) cardiovasculair diseases, or hypertension;
  • (Assumed) epilepsy, or a history of fainting;
  • Varices;
  • Fever;
  • A higher risk on (internal) bleedings after surgery/trauma;
  • Damaged skin;
  • Recent surgery, where contractions of muscles can affect the rehabilitation negatively;
  • Heavy menstruation;
  • Acute or infectious disease;
  • Treatment in the thorax area;
  • Thrombosis;
  • Children younger than six years;
  • Treatment of people without the ability of oral communication;
  • Sensibility disorders.
